Derek was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland to a middle class working family. He financed his first race car by working as a laborer in the iron ore mines of Australia. While traveling the race tracks of England, even took up residence in an old school bus. He was the first driver from the Republic of Ireland to compete in Formula One and was ranked 10th in the world in 1980. He made six starts in the Indianapolis 500 before winning the 12 Hours of Sebring endurance race, twice, in 1990 and ‘91.
In 1984, Derek was almost killed when he suffered one of the hardest crash impacts a driver had ever survived at the Michigan International Speedway. After fourteen surgeries and three years in therapy, he returned to full-time racing.
When he retired from the cockpit, Derek started a 24-year television broadcasting career with ESPN, NBC, CBS, and Fox Sports. USA Today called him; “the best new face on sports television”. IndyCar Racing magazine voted him “the most popular motor sports television announcer”. Moet & Chandon awarded Derek the Joules Goux Award for his outstanding contributions to motor sports television. He was nominated by ESPN for an Ace Award, and was inducted into the 2000 Motorsports Ireland Hall of Fame. In 2010, he was inducted into the Sebring Hall of Fame.
Derek literally wrote the book on motorsports success; Race To Win: How to Become a Complete Champion. He was honored to have Mario Andretti write the foreword. His second book, A Champions Path: Race Team Tactics for Business was published in 2017.

Allen drives consistent, successful organizational change by leveraging a proven framework to guide customers and partners towards measurable business outcomes. His extensive architecture experience ranges from mainstream computing (from mainframe to x86) to HPC, Analytics and AI. He honed his skills building programs and initiatives across North America at Dell, IBM, Citrix, Oracle and Micro Focus.
Currently, he is responsible for the Dell Technologies PowerEdge & AI strategy in NA Channel. Recognized in the ‘Who’s Who of the World’ and featured in major IT publications globally, Allen is a respected figure in the industry. Outside of his professional life, Allen enjoys all things automotive and spending time on the water with his family in Florida.
Tony is responsible for AWE’s sizeable technology change portfolio that is focused on modernising and bringing new capability to AWE. The information and technology agenda is substantial and will be a key enabler in how AWE changes for the future and creates a digitally transformed working environment that AWE needs going forward. Tony is also accountable for all aspects of security at AWE; physical, personnel and cyber security.
Prior to joining AWE, Tony was the Business Transformation Director at the Musgrave Group, a privately-owned company that operates in the food retail and wholesale sectors with annual revenues of approximately €5Bn. He was responsible for all information
exploitation, technology as well as the transformation of business processes across the group. Before that he was CIO at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office where he was a Board member and led a series of transformation initiatives.
Tony has spent over 30 years working in a number of roles, both in the public and private sectors. He has worked in different industries including Insurance (Friends Provident), Media (Clear Channel International), Transportation (British Airways), FMCG (PepsiCo), Retail (Safeway Stores plc) and Industrial (The BOC group).
Tony has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Surrey University, an MBA from Kingston Business School and an MSc in Digital Innovation from Henley Business School

Karen Thomas joined A10 Networks in September 2023 as executive vice president, global sales and marketing. Thomas previously served as chief growth officer at Alegeus Technologies, the leading provider of SaaS-based benefit funding and payment solutions from March 2020 until joining A10. At Alegeus Technologies, she led the organization to achieve consistent double-digit growth with an enterprise and channel-based strategy. Prior to Alegeus, Thomas was with Teradata Corporation as executive vice president, Americas sales and services where she led the transformation of the company’s go-to-market team to an enterprise value-based solution sales organization delivering predictable revenue growth. She was with Teradata for over 27 years in roles spanning finance, marketing, operations, customer support, professional services, and sales leadership. Thomas is passionate about delivering value to customers through industry-leading technology solutions that support better business outcomes. She holds an honours bachelor of business administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Canada.

Mikko Disini
Mikko Disini leads product management and product strategy for A10 Networks. Disini joined A10 from Citrix, where he was senior director, responsible for the cloud-native and modernized apps initiative for Citrix ADC (formerly Citrix NetScaler). He founded and grew the Kubernetes solutions, achieving over 200 customer adoptions and wins and drove the technology into new buying centers.
Previously, Disini led product management of Citrix’s software ADCs for private and public cloud, growing their adoption through innovation across the enterprise. He also took charge to penetrate mobile and fixed-line markets for NetScaler and ByteMobile (acquired by Citrix) that led to winning business in Tier 1 and 2 telcos.
Mikko holds a BS and M.Engr in electrical engineering from Cornell University.

Anthony (Tony) joined A10 Networks in June 2018 as Vice President Sales EMEA and is responsible for managing and growing A10’s sales operations across the Theatre.
Before starting his A10 career, Tony held the position of Vice President EMEA at Keysight Technologies where his focus was on maintaining their position as the leading provider of Network Testing while driving their leadership status in Network Visibility. Prior to this, he held Vice President positions at Juniper Networks, running sales organizations across EMEA. In 2000 Tony joined Cisco Systems running Service Provider and Enterprise Verticals in the UK before taking on an Enterprise Sales Director, Emerging Markets assignment in the Middle East for 5 years. Tony left the ME region and Cisco after 11 years in 2011 in order to return to the UK.
Tony started his career after graduating as a Mechanical Production Engineer from MCT (Maidenhead College of Technology) Berkshire, England. Initially his career began in the field of voice communications engineering before joining British Telecom in 1993 leading various business units within the company covering the US, Europe and Asia Pacific until 2000.
Anthony is married to Tracey and lives in Berkshire with his two grown up children; Harrison and Georgia who are both now working in medical and IT sales respectively. His hobbies include cycling, golf, DIY and alpine skiing.
